Colorado

Well, got to Gunnison last Thursday, and this is the first day I have had intercom access. Played 27 holes Saturday, 18 Sunday and 18 Monday. Taking a day off to get caught up on computin' issues. The tournament begins Friday, and I will probably just show all results on this post since I can only seem to access existing posts from the Blackberry. So look here for results.

Tell "The Wallet" that I start every day by gazing at the framed dollar bill I won off of him at the "Barclay Monsoon Invitational" ... thank him again for me.

Will await results anxiously.

Good luck Batman.

Won my first match on the 17th hole. Had to turn around and play again 30 minutes later. Got spanked in 12 holes. Played well, but couldn't beat this prick. Now, I must win two 9 hole matches tomorrow to make it to Sunday. More tomorrow.

Got beat by Batman today. Played like crap against an equally crappy opponent. We went all the way to the ninth hole before it was over. If either of us had been playing anyone else, it would have been over in 5. Tomorrow I play in the crybaby flight to try and win a golf bag.

Played the best nine holes I have played so far this week. The Crybaby flight is nine holes of stroke play against the other two time losers in the flight. Shot a 40 to win the 4th flight. Got a new Titelist Golf Bag and $80 cash.

Not leaving here empty handed at least.

Final report from Gunnison. Went out today, when it meant nothing and shot 83. I have got to figure out how to make tournament rounds as relaxing as "just have fun" rounds

It's Zen... empty your mind... it doesn't matter... detach... let go... and you will do fine. Try meditating and concentrating on a mantra. Do it on "just fun" days when it doesn't matter and you do so well, then take it with you into tournaments. It can keep you relaxed and connected to the part of golf that you love. It's the part you love that allows you to do so well. I know it sounds hokey, but it can work. You don't have to approach a mantra in terms of religious perspective. Your perspective can be philosophical or psychological. It all works the same. Good luck.
